Gastronomy Festival, in the heart of the plant world

The Fête de la Gastronomie is coming up! This event dedicated to gastronomy brings together professionals and the general public around the savoir-faire and culture of cuisine.

Since 2011, this popular event has enabled professionals to share their talents and raise public awareness of product choices.

The next edition of the Fête de la Gastronomie will be held on 22, 23 and 24 September and its main theme will be “At the heart of the product”.

Through educational events, Chefs will have the opportunity to take the public “to the heart of their products” by explaining the benefits of food, cooking techniques, the gestures of enhancement…

This is a great opportunity to highlight plant-based cuisine and the know-how associated to it.

And plant-based gastronomy is definitely part of the party! Some plant-based Chefs are already on the programme, such as Olivier Picard of Terra Culinaria, who will be giving a culinary demonstration at the Château de Saint-Jean de Beauregard.

The Fête de la Gastronomie has an awareness-raising dimension. It pays particular attention to highlighting all the sectors and activities linked to gastronomy, from the most traditional to the most recent, embodying the values of preserving biodiversity and “healthy eating”.

It is a moment of conviviality and meeting between professionals and the general public, and a real opportunity to make plant-based cuisine more accessible.

Demonstrations, tastings, workshops, sensory experiences… make your choice and become part of the Fête de la Gastronomie!
